Novembre 2010, fotografie scattate in 3 giorni, ogni giorno in un ospedale diverso di Roma.
Fanno parte di un lavoro più ampio, non ancora completo, sotterranei e luoghi abbandonati della città.

In questo primo racconto, l’idea di partenza era vedere fin dove riuscivo ad arrivare con la macchina fotografica. Selezionando gli scatti, mi sono resa conto che quello che veniva fuori era il racconto di luoghi dove la vita sembrava esserci stata fino ad un attimo prima: gli oggetti raccontano ancora di azioni che forse qualcuno ha compiuto, è come se la vita appena passata fosse scappata via.

Questo progetto non vuole essere una critica alla “mala sanità”, in quel caso penso avrebbe avuto più senso raccontare gli altri piani dell’ospedale,
piuttosto mi suggerisce una riflessione, come gli spazi quotidiani continuino a vivere anche dopo la nostra morte…

UNDERGROUND CLINICAL

November 2010, photographs taken in three days, every day at a different hospital in Rome.
They are part of a larger work, not yet complete, underground and abandoned places in the city.

In this first story, the idea was to see how far I could get with the camera. Selecting the shots, I realized that what came out was the story of places where life seemed to have been up to a moment before: the objects still tell of actions that maybe someone has made, it is as if life had just passed ran away.

This project is not intended as a criticism of the “bad health”, in that case I would have made more sense to tell the other floors of the hospital,
rather it suggests to me a reflection, as the daily spaces continue to live even after death …
